The Jackson House is located in Shallowater, approximately 10 miles NW of
Lubbock Tx on Hwy 84 which runs from Lubbock to Littlefield, TX and Clovis, NM.

When Approaching Shallowater from the Northwest On Hwy 84 (From Littlefield and Clovis):
From Hwy. 84, turn left on FM 1294. After crossing the railroad tracks, make the first left
turn on Avenue F (across from the baseball field by the New Hope Church). From Avenue F,
turn right on 15th street. The addresses are painted on the curb at the driveway entrances. You
will find it more convenient to park at the curb in front to unload. You may then move your
vehicle to off street parking.
From Lubbock Intl. Airport:
When leaving the airport, turn right on Regis street (the stop sign) and proceed west, passing
under I-27 as you leave the airport area. Regis becomes FM 2641 as you proceed west. It's a
little over 3 miles after you pass under I-27 to Hwy 84 which is a divided highway. Turn right
on Hwy 84 and proceed NW to Shallowater (about 4 Miles). Take the first Shallowater exit
(Loop 388). In about 3/4 mile, you will see a 45 MPH sign which is just before Avenue L
(which is not marked -- go figure). Turn right on Avenue L and proceed north to the stop sign
which is at the intersection of 12th Street and Avenue L (watch the 30 mph speed limits and
20 mph school zones. This is were the speed traps are!). From the intersection, continue
northbound 3 blocks to 15th Street and turn left. We are the second house from the end of the
block on the left side of the street. If you pass through an intersection, you have gone too far.

About two miles south of New Deal (about the 11 mile marker from Lubbock) you will see the
sign for Shallowater. Take FM 1294 to the west for several miles. It will take you to the stop
